SIV synchronization: more visibility, fewer actions

We’ve improved how SIV synchronization works to give you a clearer and more reliable experience when adding vehicles.

Here’s what’s changing 👇

🚨 Before

When you added a vehicle:

👉 An SIV request was triggered automatically

But in case of an issue (new registration, not yet recognized…):

❌ The vehicle record remained incomplete
❌ No explanation was provided
❌ You had to contact support or wait without visibility

✅ Now

👉 A clear SIV status is displayed on each vehicle

You can immediately understand the state of administrative data retrieval:

• ⚪ SIV not activated → automatic retrieval is not enabled
• 🟢 SIV up to date → information successfully retrieved
• 🟠 SIV pending → the vehicle is being processed
• 🔴 SIV error / not recognized → action may be required

👉 No more guessing — everything is visible

🔄 Automatic retries in the background

If the vehicle is not yet recognized (common for new registrations):

👉 The system retries automatically for you:

• once at creation
• again after 5 days
• and a final time after 10 days

👉 No action required on your side

🟢 A simple logic

• Pending → the system keeps trying
• Up to date → done
• Error → support may be needed
