Introduction

The object/equipment localization platform is not a real-time and detailed object tracking platform!

It is a fixed time location platform for objects or equipment that are not (normally) intended to move.

In case of (abnormal) movement, the beacon sends a position every 15 minutes.

The OBJECT AND EQUIPMENT LOCATION service is optimized to locate objects once a day using GSM triangulation.

These are the conditions that guarantee a long battery life.

Typical case: my equipment is parked in a certain place and must not move. If necessary, I want to receive an alert.

It is possible to modify the factory settings: GPS vs GSM positioning, frequency of position readings, activation of motion detector....

These settings have an impact on the battery life.
